Engineering Services Offshoring (ESO) promises to be the next big opportunity for Indian companies. According to Nasscom, the worldwide spend on engineering services is $750 billion per year, out of which $10-15 billion is offshored. India gets a mere $500-600 million worth of ESO work a year.

QuEST works on aerospace supply chain SEZ

ENGINEERING services major Quest is collaborating with business partners to establish a 300-acre special economic zone (SEZ) in Belgaum, Karnataka, to build an ecosystem of aerospace supply chain. The SEZ- which has been granted in principle clearance by the Board of Approvals - will be housing suppliers in a single area and carry out precision machining.
