QuEST is setting up a first of its kind independent in India
special processing facility in a joint venture with Magellan
aerospace. This is inline with QuEST’s vision to become an end to
end product development solutions provider to the global aerospace
market. This will provide global aerospace OEMs access to a supply
chain within India as well as help meet their offset requirements.
This facility will focus on processes for aluminum, titanium,
stainless steel and inconel components of primarily Airbus and
Boeing programs for aerostructure and aeroengine components.
The initial facility will be spread over 17,500 sq. ft. with a
scalable layout to accommodate future growth. The unit is expected
to start full production by Q3 2008.
